By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
Additional terms and policies may apply to certain products, services or features. Where this is the case, we will make this clear and those additional terms will form part of your agreement with us.
3. Who these Terms apply to
These Terms apply to anyone who visits or uses our website and to customers who place orders through our online checkout.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you benefit from the rights and protections provided by UK consumer law. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, additional or different terms may apply. Where relevant, our Business Terms & Conditions will also form part of your agreement with us.
4. Related Terms and Policies
Depending on how you use our website or the products and services you purchase, the following documents may also apply:
- Business Terms & Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Cookie Policy
- Delivery Policy
- Returns Policy
- Warranty Policy
These documents should be read alongside these Terms where applicable. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any product- or service-specific terms, the product- or service-specific terms will take precedence in relation to that product or service.
5. Using our website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
When using our website, you agree that you will not:
- use our website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, servers or systems;
- introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of our website;
- use automated software, bots or data scraping tools to copy or extract content from our website without our prior written permission;
- use our website in a way that could damage our reputation or interfere with other users' ability to access or use our website.
We may suspend or restrict access to all or part of our website if we reasonably believe that these Terms have been breached or if it is necessary to protect our systems, customers or business.
From time to time we may suspend access to our website for maintenance, updates or technical reasons. We will always aim to minimise any disruption.
6. Product information
6.1 Product descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date. Product descriptions, specifications and pricing are based on the information available to us at the time of publication.
We may update product information from time to time to correct errors, provide additional information or ensure that product details remain accurate and up to date.
6.2 Product images and specifications
Product images are provided for illustrative purposes only. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, the appearance of colours, finishes and materials may vary depending on your screen or device.
Unless stated otherwise, dimensions, weights and other specifications are approximate.
Some products are manufactured using natural materials such as wood, leather or fabric. Variations in colour, grain, texture and finish are a natural characteristic of these materials and should not be regarded as defects.
6.3 Product availability
Our Re-Lived products are held in stock and are available for dispatch within the estimated times shown on our website.
If a product becomes unavailable or there is a significant change to the expected lead time after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable to discuss the available options, which may include a revised delivery date, a suitable alternative or a full refund.
6.4 Re-Lived® products
Our Re-Lived products have been professionally inspected, and where necessary repaired, before sale.
Because these products have previously been used, they may show signs of previous use consistent with their condition. Where appropriate, significant cosmetic imperfections will be described on the relevant product page.
Unless stated otherwise, Re-Lived products benefit from the same statutory rights as new products and are covered by our 2-Year Re-Lived Warranty. Further details are set out in Section 12.
6.5 Product suitability & delivery access
We are happy to provide guidance to help you choose suitable products based on the information you provide and our knowledge of our products.
Any guidance or recommendations we provide are intended to help you select suitable products and should not be relied upon as medical, clinical, architectural, design or other professional advice. Unless we have specifically agreed to provide consultancy or assessment services, you remain responsible for ensuring that the products you order are suitable for your intended use and requirements.
If you have a medical condition, injury or other health concern that may affect your seating, posture or workspace requirements, we recommend seeking advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Where appropriate, we may suggest one of our Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments or ergonomic consultancy services to help assess your workplace requirements and identify suitable products.
You are also responsible for ensuring that there is safe and reasonable access for delivery and installation.
If you are unsure about product dimensions, access or suitability, please contact us before placing your order and we'll be happy to help.
7. Placing an order
When you place an order through our online checkout, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
If you place an order on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and to enter into the contract on their behalf.
After you place your order, we will send you an email confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and Wellworking is formed when we accept your order.
We reserve the right not to accept an order. This may happen, for example, if:
- a product is unavailable;
- we identify an error in the product description, price or other information displayed on our website;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity;
- we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment;
- we are unable to deliver to the address provided; or
- exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent us from fulfilling your order.
If we cannot accept your order after payment has been taken, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and refund any payment you have made.
If you need to change or cancel an order after it has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to help, but once an order has been processed or dispatched we may not be able to make changes.
To help us process your order and keep you informed, we may contact you by email, telephone, SMS or using any other contact details you have provided in connection with your order. Please ensure your contact details are accurate and notify us if they change before delivery.
8. Prices and payment
8.1 Prices
All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (£).
All prices shown on our website include VAT where applicable. The final price payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your order.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process before you place your order.
8.2 Pricing errors
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate. However, pricing errors may occasionally occur.
If we discover an obvious error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable. You will have the option to proceed with your order at the correct price or cancel your order and receive a full refund.
8.3 Payment
Unless we have agreed alternative payment terms with you in writing, payment must be made in full when you place your order.
We accept the payment methods displayed during the checkout process. Payments are processed securely by our authorised payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
8.4 Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
Refund timescales will depend on the circumstances and any applicable legal requirements. Further information about refunds following a cancellation or return is set out in Section 11 and our Returns Policy.
9. Delivery
Our standard delivery service is available throughout mainland UK. Delivery and collection options, charges and estimated lead times are shown during the ordering process and may vary depending on the products you purchase and your location.
Where available, you may also collect your order from a Wellworking location free of charge.
9.1 Delivery locations
Our standard delivery service is available to mainland UK addresses only.
We do not currently offer our standard delivery service to Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man or addresses outside the UK.
In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to arrange delivery to some UK islands using a specialist courier service. Additional delivery charges and longer lead times may apply. Please contact us before placing your order to discuss your requirements.
If you would like to arrange onward delivery using your own freight forwarder, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the available options.
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your location, please contact us before placing your order and we'll be happy to advise you.
9.2 Delivery times
We aim to deliver orders within one week from the date your order is confirmed.
Deliveries to more remote mainland UK locations, including parts of the Highlands, may take longer. We will let you know if we expect your delivery to take longer than our usual timescale.
Delivery timescales are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control. If there is a significant delay to your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable.
9.3 Our delivery service
Our products are held in stock and are ready for dispatch within the estimated times shown on our website.
The delivery service applicable to your order will depend on the products you purchase. Details of the available delivery options will be shown on the relevant product page or during checkout.
Most items are delivered fully assembled and ready to use. Some larger items, such as tables or desks, may require some assembly.
Items may be delivered without a box or additional packaging to help reduce unnecessary packaging and waste. Where packaging is used as part of our delivery service, our delivery team will remove it and take it away for recycling where possible.
9.4 Delivery and collection options
Depending on the products you purchase and your location, we may offer different delivery and collection options. Where available, these options will be shown on the relevant product page or during checkout and will form part of your order if selected.
Free Collection from Wellworking
Selected products may be available for free collection from a Wellworking location.
Where collection is available, the applicable collection location and any relevant instructions will be confirmed when your order is ready. Please do not travel to collect your order until we have confirmed that it is ready for collection.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable vehicle and are able to transport the products safely from the collection location.
White Glove Delivery
We may offer White Glove Delivery on selected furniture products.
Where available, this option will be shown on the relevant product page or during checkout. Unless otherwise stated, White Glove Delivery includes delivery to your chosen room and assembly where applicable, leaving your products ready for use.
Existing Chair Collection
Existing Chair Collection is available with selected office chair orders for an additional charge.
Where this service is available, the applicable charge will be shown on the relevant product page and during checkout before you place your order.
Where this service is selected, Wellworking will collect one existing office chair for recycling or responsible disposal for each qualifying office chair purchased.
The collection service applies to office chairs only and does not include other types of furniture or household items.
The chair to be collected must be available and reasonably accessible at the agreed time. We reserve the right not to collect an item where we cannot safely access, handle or transport it.
9.5 Preparing for your delivery
Please ensure that the delivery address you provide is accurate and that there is safe and reasonable access for delivery.
For deliveries made by our own delivery team, we will contact you to arrange delivery and provide an estimated one-hour delivery slot.
To help us provide the best possible service, we recommend providing a contact telephone number when placing your order so that we can contact you if necessary before or during delivery.
If there are any access restrictions or special delivery requirements, please let us know before your delivery date so that we can plan your delivery accordingly.
9.6 Risk and ownership
Responsibility for the products passes to you when they have been delivered to the delivery address you have provided or, where you have chosen to collect your order from a Wellworking location, when the products are handed over to you or a person collecting them on your behalf.
Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received payment in full, unless we have agreed alternative payment terms with you in writing.
9.7 Delivery issues
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or you believe there is a problem with your delivery, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable so that we can investigate and resolve the issue.
10. Your legal rights (Consumers)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have important rights under UK consumer law.
These include the right to:
- receive products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described;
- cancel many online purchases within the statutory cooling-off period; and
- receive a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where products do not meet the standards required by law.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
The following sections explain how to exercise these rights when purchasing from Wellworking.
11. Cancelling your order and returns
11.1 Cancelling your order before delivery
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been delivered or collected, please contact us as soon as possible.
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will normally be able to cancel it and issue a full refund, including any standard delivery charge you have paid.
If your order has already been dispatched, you may still have the right to cancel if you are purchasing as a consumer. If you refuse delivery when our delivery team arrives, we will treat this as a cancellation and issue a full refund, including any standard delivery charge you have paid. You will not be charged a separate return collection fee where the product is taken away by our delivery team at that time.
11.2 Your right to change your mind
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your products without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us within the cancellation period.
11.3 Returning your products
Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, you may return the products to an agreed Wellworking location free of charge or ask Wellworking to arrange collection.
Where Wellworking arranges collection as part of a change-of-mind return, a £19 return collection charge will apply and will normally be deducted from your refund.
If we are unable to complete an agreed return collection because no one is available, we cannot gain suitable access, or for another reason within your control, an additional £19 collection charge will apply to rearrange the collection. You will not be charged an additional collection fee where we are unable to complete the collection because of something within our control.
Unless Wellworking has agreed to collect the products, they must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notify us of your decision to cancel.
Original packaging is not required. However, products must be made available in a condition that allows them to be transported safely.
You are entitled to inspect products as you would in a retail showroom. However, if a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics or function, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in value, as permitted by law.
11.4 Refunds
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the price paid for the returned products together with any standard delivery charge you paid, subject to any deductions permitted by law.
If you return the products to us yourself, we will normally issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the products back or, if earlier, receiving evidence that you have sent them back.
Where Wellworking has agreed to collect the products from you, we will issue your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date you tell us that you wish to cancel, subject to any deductions permitted by law.
Where our £19 change-of-mind collection service is used, the collection charge will normally be deducted from your refund.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed. We do not charge a fee for issuing a refund.
Further information about cancellations, returns, collection charges and refunds is set out in our Returns Policy.
12. Faulty products, warranties and guarantees
12.1 If there is a problem with your product
If you believe your product is faulty, damaged, not as described or has developed a fault, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable.
Please provide a description of the issue and, where reasonably possible, photographs or video showing the problem. This will help us investigate the issue and determine the most appropriate solution.
Re-Lived products are pre-owned and may show signs of previous use, including cosmetic wear or imperfections. Where these have been described or shown to you before purchase, they will not generally be considered faults.
12.2 Your legal rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, your rights in relation to faulty products are governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
12.3 Our process
Once you have contacted us, we will investigate the issue and discuss the most appropriate solution with you. We may ask you to provide photographs, video or other reasonable information to help us assess a reported fault.
Where appropriate, we may:
- provide replacement parts;
- arrange an inspection;
- repair the product;
- replace the product; or
- arrange collection and provide a refund where appropriate.
The solution available will depend on the nature of the fault, the age and condition of the product and your legal rights.
Where a repair, replacement or return is required because the product is faulty, damaged or not as described and is covered by your statutory rights or the Re-Lived Warranty, Wellworking will normally arrange this at no additional cost for products located in Great Britain. The £19 change-of-mind return collection charge does not apply in these circumstances.
Where an issue reported as a fault is found not to be a fault, including where it relates to cosmetic wear or an imperfection that was disclosed before purchase, any return will be dealt with in accordance with our standard cancellation and returns terms in Section 11.
If a product has been moved outside Great Britain after delivery, we will work with you to honour any applicable statutory rights or warranty wherever reasonably practicable. However, you may be responsible for any additional transport, shipping or other costs associated with providing warranty support outside Great Britain.
12.4 Re-Lived Warranty
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, products sold through Wellworking Re-Lived are covered by our 2-Year Re-Lived Warranty.
The warranty lasts for 24 months from the date the product is delivered to you or collected by you. It covers faults that arise during normal use and affect the product's normal function.
Full details of what is covered, what is excluded and how to make a claim are set out in our Warranty Policy.
12.5 What your warranty doesn't cover
The Re-Lived Warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear;
- cosmetic marks, scratches, fading or other signs of previous use that were disclosed or are consistent with the product's stated condition;
- accidental damage, misuse, neglect or improper use;
- damage caused by failure to follow any care, use or maintenance instructions provided;
- unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications; or
- damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Further details are set out in our Warranty Policy.

16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable.
If you are purchasing as a business, our liability is subject to any additional provisions contained in our Business Terms & Conditions where those Terms apply.
We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform our obligations where these result from events outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will let you know as soon as reasonably practicable and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation where permitted by law.
If you are purchasing as a business, any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
